Travelling to UQ

If you come by car, you may wish to take advantage of the ample street parking on Sir William MacGregor Drive near to The Women’s College or the Conifer Knoll carpark (building 98D with undercover parking) on Thynne Road opposite The Women’s College. Parking is free on weekends.

If you’re using a GPS and you can’t find The Women’s College, St Lucia, its co-ordinates are 27.5012° S, 153.0172° E

If you are travelling by taxi, ask to go to The Women’s College, College Road, St Lucia QLD 4067.

If you are travelling by public transport, then you may wish to visit the Brisbane City Council’s Translink website (https://translink.com.au/) to find the best bus or CityCat ferry to catch to UQ.


Public Transport

If you come by bus, you’ll arrive at either:

o The Lakes bus stop (58A), from which you can walk south along a walking path to College Road (2 minutes), or via Sir William MacGregor Drive (5 minutes), to get to The Women’s College.

o The Chancellor’s Place bus stop (77A), from which you can walk south-east through the campus (5 minutes), or south along Chancellor’s Place and Upland Road before turning east along Sir William MacGregor Drive (15 minutes), to get to The Women’s College.

 o If you come by CityCat ferry, you’ll arrive at the UQ ferry stop (building 58C), from which you can walk south along Sir William MacGregor Drive (5 minutes) to get to The Women’s College.

The Women’s College is located on the St Lucia Campus of The University of Queensland (UQ).
