The first meeting of AANW was convened in Melbourne in 2004. The one day workshop has traditionally been held as a satellite meeting of the annual Australasian Neuroscience Society (ANS) Conference.

Since its beginning, the meeting has grown and is now attended by researchers from across Australia, New Zealand and the globe.

The meeting is a great opportunity to gather and discuss new scientific developments in the field of auditory neuroscience. In particular, the meeting aims to provide emerging researchers – honours, doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees –with a friendly forum in which to present their work and receive constructive feedback from senior scientists in the field.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 16th AANW in Brisbane!
